Sailor Mars firing up represents my empowerment writing this blog and my own journey of self growth

I have learnt a lot about myself as I will share in this blog in the past 4 months to be honest I was feeling a little bit like I was stuck unable to move forward. I had faced set backs and adversity and like everyone at least in one point in their life or another have felt the same way. I managed to take action and not give in to the setbacks...

4 months later I have progressed I have come a long way since I felt this way. I was ready to give up 4 months ago til I decided that there had to be something I could do about this because I knew if I didnt I'd continue to put on weight and put myself in danger and I wouldnt do anything though 4 months I felt I could have lived with that I think we all get to that point accepting a grim situation but no something insode of me was screaming oh no you don't and by chance I found motivational content. and similiar content that also catered to all my other needs. It was that moment I began to flip the script and change the hand I felt I was dealt.

These changes did not come over night its not like I waved a magic wand and then suddenly I was better and a new man oh no no no! these changes within me over time. as said I was very over weight still am a little if I'm being honest. I wouldnt shower and was a slob and I blamed other people for it example my roomate never cleans up after himself so I figured why should I... Wrong attitude to have. SO when I found these motivational videos I started listening and taking them in and began making small gradual changes in myself starters going to bed at a decent hour and waking up before 11am, making my bed brushing my teeth and showering every morning and doing a one minute exercise. To my surprise these changes worked wonders even though small it started momentum for me I was getting more done during the day tasks I was procrastinating I added more exercises started jogginf round the block 30 minutes of tidying the house every day all of ot built up into more good habbits that began forging into other aspects of my life I was starting to eat healthier have salads eat balanced meal refusing take out and junk food overtime.. my finances began improving to with good habbits meant i was saving more no more fatty expensive fast food I now have a emergency fund and stocks actual assets that have helped me become more finacially stable and will continue to grow in the years to come. I've started to tone up and lose body fat I now jog/ slpw run 6 to 12 km a day and can do over 100 push ups, squats, sit ups, jumping jacks, 25 Burpees on a chair 25 Lunges. Do strength training at the gym twice a week. 4 months ago I wouldn't even leave the house.. I feel more confident in myself than I ever have its improved my content as well. I'm better at talking and engaging with people. I'm a better artist and writer. I can't wait to see how far I grow by the end of 2025. in closing I want to say that if someone like me can progress like this in 4 months imagine what you could do with that same discipline and resilience you can do it I know you can

Over the past four months, I've discovered so much about myself. Not long ago, I felt as if I was stuck, unable to move forward. Like many people, I faced setbacks and adversity, but I realized that I wasn’t alone in feeling this way. Instead of giving in to despair, I decided to take action.

Fast forward four months, and I'm proud to share that I've made significant progress. I was on the brink of giving up, but I tapped into deep inner motivation, knowing I had the power to change my situation. I found myself engaging with motivational content that inspired me to flip the script and reshape my destiny.

This transformation didn’t happen overnight. There was no magic wand—just consistent effort and gradual change. Initially, I struggled with being overweight, neglecting self-care, and blaming others for my challenges. For instance, my messy roommate became an excuse for my own lack of effort. I realized that this was the wrong mindset, and it was time to take responsibility for my life.

With determination, I started listening to motivational videos and began implementing small, manageable changes. I prioritized going to bed at a reasonable hour, waking up before 11 am, making my bed, and practicing personal hygiene. Even just one minute of exercise a day sparked momentum. To my surprise, these tiny shifts led to incredible results—my productivity soared, and I tackled tasks I had previously procrastinated on, like exercising and organizing my living space.

As I committed to these new habits, I noticed additional positive changes. I began to eat healthier, incorporating salads and balanced meals into my diet while resisting the temptation of takeout and junk food. This shift didn’t just improve my health; it enhanced my finances as well. With better habits, I started saving money and created an emergency fund. I even ventured into investing, building assets that contribute to my financial stability.

Now, my physical transformation is evident. I jog or slow run between 6 to 12 km daily, can complete over 100 push-ups, and effectively incorporate strength training at the gym twice a week. Just four months ago, I struggled to leave the house, and now, I feel more confident than ever.

This newfound confidence has positively impacted every aspect of my life. I’ve improved my communication skills, become a better artist and writer, and I’m excited to see just how far I can grow by the end of 2025.

To anyone feeling stuck or overwhelmed, I promise you that if I can make such drastic improvements in just four months, you can too. With discipline and resilience, you have the power to transform your life. Believe in yourself—you are capable of great things!

Sincerely,

Ryan Melrose
